Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Neenah Foundry is apparently the successor to a former foundry company founded in 1872 by the Aylward family according to a previous Environmental Review performed by Strata Environmental. In the 1920s Neenah Foundry Corp. was established and began its operations on the site and incorporated the previous foundry into its operations of producing metal castings. These operations continued on the site until 1993. All of the former buildings on the site associated with the foundry have been demolished and the property is currently vacant. A gas station was formerly located on the northwest corner of the site according to historic Sanborn fire insurance maps.
