Property Highlights

Phase I was not completed initially as property transaction was cancelled. However, a Phase I was completed in August 2016 and a Phase II was recommended on the southern portion of the site. However, the City decided to pursue only the northern portion of the site and the Phase II was not performed.

Former Use: Historically, the site consisted of vacant land with four rural residential structures on the northern portion of the site from 1942 until the early 1950s, when only one rural structure remained. By the late 1960s, the site consisted of vacant land. By 1984, an unimproved road with a circular drive was located on the southwestern portion of the site. By 1988, an apparent Bell Helicopter aircraft testing facility was constructed and the associated underground storage tanks (USTs) were installed on the southern portion of the site. By 2004, the USTs were removed from the ground, and Bell Helicopter operations continued on the southern portion of the site. A creek has traversed the northern portion of the site since at least 1942.
