Additional Property Attributes

The three-story Beeline Dragway building and parking structures surrounding it had become a common place for illegal activities and posed a risk to the health of the Community. It's clean up has decreased crime in the area, including illegal dumping at the site.

Former Use: The Beeline Dragway was constructed in 1963, and opened in 1964, operating for approximately 16 years. During that time, two asphalt parking areas, a three-story building, and additional structures (no longer in existence) were constructed and used. A limited amount of vehicle maintenance was reportedly performed and vehicles were fueled on-Site with small aboveground storage tanks. Operations at the Beeline Dragway ceased in January of 1979, but the asphalt parking areas, structures, and significant debris remained. The land is tribally owned and was leased during the above mentioned years and the structures where later abandoned.
