Additional Property Attributes

Site to be remediated by state agency for petroleum storage tanks discharge

Former Use: Review of the historical information indicates that the site was initially developed with the existing building in 1938. The site was occupied by a tire sales entity and Firestone auto service from approximately 1940 until 2001. In 2002, the City of Jacksonville (COJ) entered into a redevelopment agreement with Symbiosis Investments, LLC to redevelop the site as a restaurant the 9th & Main Restaurant and Bar. The developer defaulted on the loan and the COJ acquired possession of the property in 2010. The restaurant closed and the site has remained vacant since.
