Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Subject Property is comprised of a single structure and an associated parking lot on two parcels separated by Harrison Street and totaling 3.32 acres. 200 Harrison Street is owned by Chautauqua Region Industrial Development Corporation, while 201 Harrison Street is owned by 201 Harrison Street, LLC. Currently, the majority of the building is vacant industrial space with recently renovated office space and light industrial space on the northern portion of the building. The Subject Property also contains an associated parking lot to the north of Harrison Street. According to historical records, the initial development of the Subject Property included industrial use as a dye manufacturer, cotton mill, and a lumber and stone yard. Later development included an expanded dye works operation and cotton mill, cotton yarn manufacturer, and manufacturing by the Crescent Tool Company. More recent use includes Frazier Furniture Company, Inc. and the Crescent Niagara Corporation.

Currently the City is working with the YMCA to develop a new Jamestown YMCA Suburban Center at this The new development is still in the early stages, however, would provide a range of services, much needed for the City's residents.
