Additional Property Attributes

The Phase I ESA was conducted in February 2017. Based on site inspection and review of current and surrounding environmental conditions, further environmental assessment of the subsurface conditions at the Site was not warranted. However, due to the structures construction in the 1880s, the presence of asbestos or lead containing materials was considered likely. Therefore, conduction of a lead and asbestos survey of the building interior and roof at the Site was recommended.During these assessments, a total of 165 suspect asbestos-containing materials were sampled. 110 (67%) were confirmed to be non-asbestos containing materials, 9 (5%) were assumed to be asbestos-containing materials, and 46 (28%) were confirmed to be asbestos containing materials. Additionally, a total of 270 components were analyzed via X-Ray Florescence (XRF) for lead concentrations. Of these, 68 (25%) components were found to have a lead content equal to or greater than the HUD/EPA standard for lead-based paint and 202 (75%) components were below the HUD/EPA standard for lead-based paint.
