Additional Property Attributes

Located near Moore's Pond and the town swimming beach, the site had been a residential property. However, the owners worked on vehicles an stored junked cars on site. Also on the site is an old cellar hole used for the disposal of household waste, tires and possible petroleum products from junked cars. The Town of Warwick is concerned about the potential contamination to the environment and public water supplies from the property as well as blight. Former Use: The residential property is located in the rural community of Warwick, not far from Moore's Pond. Historical records an indicate a structure has been on the site as early as 1889. The current residential structure is estimated to date from the late 1950s to early 1960s. Debris visible on the site include fuel oil tanks, junked cars, vehicle gasoline tanks and other automotive debris, 55-gallon drums, and household debris.
