Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I ESA was completed in May 2017. A REC was identified due to the historical use of the site as a gasoline service station with a gasoline UST. MDEQ issued a petroleum eligibility determination on May 18, 2017. A Site Specific QAPP was approved by MDEQ and EPA in May 2017. In June 2017, a Phase II ESA was conducted and soil and groundwater samples were collected and analyzed for petroleum hydrocarbons and lead. On July 5, 2017 a gasoline UST was removed in compliance with MDEQ UST regulations. MDEQ UST Division issued a NFA letter for the UST on July 28, 2017 and MDEQ GARD issued a NFA letter for the site on August 30, 2017. This site is currently vacant land in an area devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It is likely to be redeveloped when the City of Biloxi completes their FEMA funded infrastructure project.
