The property is to be redeveloped and repurposed for a research and development facility for a polymer company.

Former Use: Standard and other historical sources document that the subject property was developed prior to 1937 as agricultural land. Agricultural activities ceased between 1964 and 1971, when the current building was constructed. The building was historically occupied by National Wire Corporation, Steel & Wire Corporation, CSI Industries, Inc., and U.N. Alloy Steel, which appear to be various steel fabrication operations from the time of construction until at least 1986, and Bohler Brothers of America, between at least 1988 and 1992. The subject property was occupied by MGA Research Corporation, an automotive restraint testing and marketing company from 1992 until at least 2009, Quality Hardwood of Michigan in at least 2003, and Avi Foodsystem, a vending machine distribution company, since at least 2007.
