Additional Property Attributes

Property is part of a much larger redevelopment project. Many of the subject parcels in the area have also utilized assessment grant funding. More information can be found at https://freshtechinnovation.com/. Former Use: The Property consists of five separate parcels of vacant land totaling approximately 0.41 acres. The Property contains parcels that are zoned for both residential and commercial use. Geographically, the Property is approximately 0.5 miles west of Lake Michigan and approximately 400 feet southwest of the Sheboygan River. Surrounding land use is a mix of industrial, commercial, and residential properties. Surrounding properties are a mix of commercial properties, residences, or vacant land. Portions of the Property were likely originally developed for residential purposes prior to 1884. By 1903, the Property was being utilized for residential and commercial uses (cobbler). The Property continued to be used for residential and commercial businesses until 2017 when the structures were razed. The 920 Indiana Avenue parcel was occupied by White Hat Shop (cleaners) from at least 1958 until 1973. Additional occupants of the buildings are outlined in Section 4.4.3. The Property is currently vacant.
