Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The majority of the Property has existed as ranchland dating back to at least the late 1800s and was reportedly a part of the Dangberg Family ranchland (personal interviews). The Douglas County Tax Assessors database indicates several buildings located at the 1745 Buckeye Road parcel were built in 1920 (blacksmith shop, horse barn, tack room, cook house, bunkhouse, shop/garage), with various other buildings constructed in 1940 (gas storage), 1943 (shed, septic, garage), 1960 (concrete flatwork and asphalt improvements), and in 2003 (concrete flat work). The first available aerial photograph reviewed by Converse, dated 1953, appears to show the above described structures at the 1745 Buckeye Road parcel in similar configuration and use, with the exception of one residential home which is not visible and an additional structure which is visible east of the main maintenance shop, along Orchard Road.
