Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The subject property consists of one legal parcel of land occupying approximately 3.49 acres. The western portion of the parcel is developed with an asphalt-covered parking lot, while the eastern portion of the parcel has never been developed. Before industrial development in the area beginning in the mid-1960s, the subject property was agricultural land. Port Huron Machine Products owned the property but never developed or used it because all its operations were next door at 2015 Dove Street. After Port Huron Machine Products went bankrupt and the property was sold back to the City of Port Huron in the early 1980s, Stevens Auto Products operated at 2015 Dove Street; Stevens Auto Park only used the subject property for parking on a portion of the west end of the parcel. Michigan Metal Coatings has owned/operated at 2015 Dove Street since 2000 and used the paved parking area on the subject property in a similar manner.
