Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Site consisted of approximately 0.08 acres of land and was located at 1938 South 6th Avenue. The Site contained an approximately 2,604-square foot building constructed in 1952 and consisting of three vacant rooms formerly used for a boot and western wear store, a bathroom, and an apartment area in the westernmost portion of the building. The entrance to the former retail area was located on the eastern side of the building, was covered with a roll-up security gate, and led into the eastern vacant room. The room had mostly carpeted flooring with concrete flooring in the western end, and wooden beams were exposed on the walls. The middle vacant room had concrete flooring with de minimus staining, and a clean out, as well as a storage closet. The living area was located at the westernmost end of the building and contained a living room, bedroom, full bathroom, and kitchen. The room had concrete flooring with a floor drain. A small bathroom with separate rooms for the shower and toilet was located between the central and western vacant rooms. A Phase II ESA,not using Brownfields funding, was completed to address the RECs identified from the Phase I ESA. The results of the Phase II ESA eliminated the RECs identified in the Phase I ESA.
