Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Historical records reviewed by Allwyn Environmental indicate an approximately 2,100-square foot building was constructed on the Property in the early 1940s and a sheet metal fabrication shop had operated in this building in the 1940s and possibly into the 1950s. Sheet metal fabricators commonly cut and bend metals, weld metal parts together and sometimes finish metal parts by painting or plating. Sheet metal fabrication businesses may use products or generate wastes containing petroleum products and/or hazardous substances such as paints, paint thinners, cooling oils, used sanding agents, metal turnings, and plating solutions. It is possible the original property building was connected to a private septic system. The original property building was reportedly destroyed by fire in 1961. The Phase II determined no further assessment of the Property.
