Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Property was occupied by residential dwellings, feed corrals, and hay/grain sheds as well as a warehouse, general store, saloon, and billiards room by at least 1907. By the 1940s and until at least 1970, the Property consisted of mainly residential dwellings, with the warehouse and general store remaining on the northern portion of the Property. The hotel building was originally constructed in 1972, known as the Ormsby House, and operated as a hotel casino until closing in 2000. The parking deck was constructed in 1986. The current gas station structure is recorded at the Carson City Tax Assessor�s Office as being constructed in 1988; however, based on review of additional information, it appears this portion of the Property was developed as a gasoline station by at least 1965.
