10 Locust Ave - The property currently has multiple rentals on the top floor of the main building. Historical uses in the include Pitrolo Pontiac Cadillac from the 40s to the early 80s, Pace Pontiac from the mid to late 80s. The showroom was Factory FirePlace and Carpet for 10 years or more, a used furniture store, Thrift shop for 4 years, and most recently it operated as Whiskey Creek Candle Company. Wayne's Body shop operated as a service station at the location for over 20 years. There is a large warehouse space in the back of the property that is known to have once been storage area for an airplane. Aside from the upper section of the property being used as rentals, much of the building is either vacant or used as vehicle or miscellaneous storage. Lot 12, across from 10 Locust Ave ? Historically home to both a service garage and a duplex in the 1970s. The structures are no longer present. The space currently contains two billboards that have been leased by Lamar Advertising for over 20 years. Cliff Jackson Properties ? There was a structure constructed in the 1920s that first operated as Fairmont Dairy with 4 apartments above. It then was Fairmont Tire Center from the 50s through the 80s and then sat vacant for almost 30 years until it was demolished in 2016. The lot now sits vacant with a mix of grass, gravel, and concrete.
