Additional Property Attributes

Activities at this 3-parcel site included auto repair, machining and painting. The land is now vacant, having been cleared in approximately 2006.
Ph I Findings: On-site: potential USTs (250 & 2000 gal); historic uses as plating, car wash, machine shop, auto upholstery manuf., steel fabricating, auto repair, paining & parts manuf.. Known contamination (metals, TCE, VOCs) in soil and groundwater above commercial land use standards. Off-site: potential contamination from adjacent dry-cleaning operation (to east, hydraulically cross-gradient) .
Recommendation: Limited ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic (EM) survey to locate remaining USTs, if any. Based on known soil, groundwater and soil gas contamination, plus suspected USTs, take appropriate remediation and risk mitigation measures prior to redevelopment.
