Additional Property Attributes

The building is currently undergoing an interior renovation and is unoccupied. The Subject
Property is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the North Carolina
Department of Cultural Resources' State Historic Preservation Office. The original
construction of the building dates to between 1910-1920. Numerous renovations occurred
in the building as the building's occupants and uses changed throughout the century.
Major renovations and changes to the building footprint are expected to have taken place
in the late 1920's, mid-1940's, and early to mid-1950's.
During review of the Subject Property's listing in The National Register of Historic Places,
Mid-Atlantic noted that a "one-story garage with a buried gasoline tank near Mulberry
Street and a gasoline engine and repair shop at the rear" were present on the [north side]
of the lot in the early 1910's.
