Additional Property Attributes

We conducted a Brownfield Inventory of approximately 4.5 miles in East Cleveland of Euclid Ave and Hayden Ave. A total of 380 Parcels were identified on Euclid Ave. and 187 were identified on Hayden Ave. It was discovered that there were 104 and 62 Brownfield properties located along Euclid and Hayden, respectively. Of those 166 Brownfield properties 56 were vacant which was considered a primary factor for future environmental assessment. Conditions considered to pose an environmental concern include auto repair facilities, gasoline filling stations and gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs), dry cleaners, and various commercial/industrial facilities. The aforementioned activities typically include the use of petroleum products and/or hazardous substances, which if released to the environment, have the potential to have adversely impacted the area.
