Additional Property Attributes

Between March and June of 2020 a Brownfield inventory was completed on a three mile area of Carnegie Ave. and Payne Ave. known as Midtown. The focus was primarily on parcels that were previously used as auto repair facilities, gasoline filling stations, underground storage tanks (USTs), dry cleaners, and/or various commercial/industrial operations. The Carnegie Avenue and Payne Avenue Corridors included 255 and 166 parcels, respectively. Out of these 421 parcels, 114 parcels on Carnegie Ave. and 61 parcels on Payne Ave were identified as Brownfield properties. Ten of the parcels were identified as prioritiy parcels for assessment.
