Additional Property Attributes

City hall is currently operating out of a small wood-frame structure built in 1965, and shared with the local fire district. A failing ceiling is allowing insulation suspected to contain asbestos to enter the city hall work area possibly creating unsafe working conditions. An evaluation of structure building materials, inclusive of the insulation, is needed. This work is time sensitive due to the potential unsafe working condition created by the insulation issue.

Further, City of Mosier is currently planning for a replacement structure (Mosier Center) that would house a fire station, city hall offices, and a community meeting/training center. The City is considering sale of the subject property to raise funds for the Mosier Center project. To facilitate possible sale of the subject property, a Phase I ESA is needed.

A Regulated Building Materials Survey was conducted to evaluate the presence of asbestos and paint in poor condition. No asbestos or pain in poor condition was identified.
