Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property appeared to be residential land from at least 1913 when a residential structure was depicted on the site. The Subject Property remained residential land until the house was demolished in 2015. The Subject Property has remained vacant, grassed land since the demolition. The material used to backfill the former residential basement was not documented so accordingly, this fill represents a REC.

June 2023 - SAP was prepared and approved by EPA this quarter but field work will be completed in next quarter.

October 2023 update - Field work was completed. Based on analytical results, arsenic, lead and mercury were measured in soil samples at concentrations that exceed EGLE Part 201 Generic Residential Cleanup Criteria. Waiting for owner (Calhoun County Land Band Authority) to determine next steps.

April 2024 - still waiting for owner to determine next steps.

June/July 2024 - final report prepared.
