Additional Property Attributes

This site was acquired by LRA via Tax suit #9 on June 6, 1974. It measures 69.5 x 120 feet, is zoned C - Multiple Family Residential, and is located in the 4th Ward. The site was a vacant lot from 1909 t0 1941. By 1951, an auto repair shop occupied the site. The lot has been abandoned since at least 1971.

An automotive repair shop was located on the site around 1951.
Businesses on surrounding properties included an auto repair shop and a meat packing plant.

Arsenic and lead were detected in the soil above the Department's default target levels, though they are consistent with normal backround levels for the area. Arsenic, chromium, and lead detected in the groundwater exceed the default target levels, but not the residential risk-based target levels. No further investigation is necessary.
