Additional Property Attributes

This site was acquired by LRA via Tax Suit #93 on November 12, 1997. The onsite building was demolished in 1995. No testing data is known. The parcel measures 35 x 165 feet. It is zoned C - Multiple Family Residential and is located in the 4th Ward. The west adjoining parcels are also owned by LRA. The site contained a residential dwelling in the early 1900s, and a filling station with two fuel tanks during the period of 1930s to approximately 1960. The site has been vacant since at least 1993.

The site was occupied by a gas station, with two underground gasoline tanks, from at least 1930 to 1960. There are no records indicating that the tanks were ever removed.
Commercial and industrial businesses, including a printing business, dry cleaning business, coal yard, junk yard, and automotive repair shops, have occupied adjacent properties dating back to 1909.

Lead concentrations in the subsurface soil exceed the Department's default target levels, but are consistent with normal background levels for the area. No further investigation is necessary.
