Concentrations of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons - Diesel Range Organics (TPH-DRO) were detected in the subsurface soil at levels above the Department's Tier I Risk-Based Target Levels (RBTLs), for residential land use. The polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(a)pyrene, and indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene were detected in the subsurface soil at levels above the default target levels (DTLs). Further subsurface investigation of the extent of the TPH-DRO is recommended. Also, as the PAHs listed above exceed the DTLs in the subsurface soil, further investigation into the extent of PAHs in the surficial soil should be conducted.
