Additional Property Attributes

This site was purchase by the LRA on behalf of CDA/Operation Impact on September 28, 2000. It is also known as 2619 N. Kingshighway (because Kingshighway borders the site to the southeast). It is zoned F - Neighborhood Commercial and is located in the 1st Ward. The site was occupied in 1931 by a filling station with three underground fuel storage tanks, and has been vacant since at least 1971. Concentrations of lead in subsurface soils exceed the Department's Tier I Risk-Based Target Levels for residential land use. Additional investigation into the lead contamination is warranted.
