Additional Property Attributes

This site was originally an apartment building from the 1930s through the 1970s. A filling station was on the property from at least 1989 to 2010; the onsite structures were demolished in 2010. The site was acquired by LRA via Tax Suite 156 on October 20, 2011. It has Tanks ID number ST0010032, with release number R002368. It was formerly owned by KNR Oil, LLC. It is zoned B - Two Family Residential, and is located in the 22nd Ward.

The site was a filling station from at least 1989 to 2010. Records review indicate a release occurred at the site in 1989. The release was closed by the Department in 1997. Currently the site has temporarily closed tanks; they have not been removed.
A drycleaning facility, and two filling stations were located to the north and west of the site.

The concentration of benzene in the subsurface soil exceeds the Department's default target level, though not the Tier I Risk-Based Target Level (RBTL) for residential land use. The concentration of total petroleum hydrocarbons - gasoline range organics (TPH-GRO) exceeds the residential RBTL, for the indoor air inhalation pathway. As the soil concentration of TPH-GRO exceeds the residential RBTL, further investigation is warranted.
