Additional Property Attributes

The potential petroleum and hazardous materials impact based on the long-term use of the site as a gas station and automobile service, including the potential presence of USTs and related subsurface features represents a REC. Three borings were advanced at the site and 9 total soil samples were submitted for analysis, along with one groundwater sample. A strong petroleum odor was noted in one of the samples. The groundwater sample revealed contamination via RCRA 8 metals, VOCs, PAHs, and TPH-DRO above reporting limits. The concentrations of benzene, ethylbenzene, n-propylbenzene, 1,3,5-trimethylbenzene, and napthalene exceeded DTLs. Arsenic, barium, chromium, lead, and 1,2,4-trimethylbenzene also exceeded DTLs and Tier 1 RBTLs. Within the soil samples, several concentrations of metals, VOCs, TPH, and PAH concentrations exceeded DTLs. The elevated concentrations of metals, VOCs, PAHs, and TPHs at the site are consistent with historical operations and the REC.
