Additional Property Attributes

The property consists of 19 parcels approximately 2.83 acres of undeveloped lots in a residential area. In 1980s and 2005 the property was owned and occupied by Potomac Construction as an asphalt distribution center, handling ignitable waste, lead, benzene and tetrachloroethylene (PCE). 5 aboveground storage tanks for tar and other unidentified contents were removed from the property. 2 USTSs were closed in 1995 and gasoline release was discovered. Beginning in 2005, Shenandoah Oil Company operated a vehicle maintenance garage at the property in 2005. In 2017, it was purchased by Habitat for Humanity to be developed as affordable housing.
