Additional Property Attributes

This property operated as a hydraulic repair shop for automobiles and boats, and resulted in stained soils and poor house keeping. The City of Hampton purchased the property with intent to redevelop as part of the brownfield project area. (PPF - Ron's Hydraulic, 8/17/06)

Former Use: The property was a hydraulic repair shop with two buildings built in 1950. Poor housekeeping has been observed at the property. Spills have been reported to VA DEQ in 1995 and 2003 at the property. It is uspected that hydraulic, motor oils and other engine fluids have been released at the property.
