Additional Property Attributes

The Town is planning on using part of the property to add to an existing adjacent town park and the rest for possible workforce housing development. PPF - 12/29/2005

Former Use: This site initially consists of a cluster of eight buildings used to house psychiatric patients and the hospital staff. The previous owner, the New York State Office of Mental Health, later sold the site to the Town of Islip in 1977.
