Property Highlights

This historic site has been redeveloped into 45 affordable housing units.

Former Use: The A. H. Rice Company formerly produced thread and braided thread products at the Site beginning in the late 1880s. Raw materials were spun into various sized and weighted threads. These products were then dyed and wound onto various sized spools for sale or used in braiding processes. The manufacturing operations ceased at the mill in December 2005. As of October 2012, the Site has been redeveloped into 45 affordable housing units.
