Property Highlights

Partial Phase II was completed on 5/5/2007. More investigation was required. LVEDC contractor completed a Site Specific Sampling and Analysis Plan for the location. City of Allentown and LVEDC completed an application for a Targeted Brownfields Assessment through EPA. Work on balance of assessment work needed to complete the Phase II will be done through the EPA TBA that was awarded to the property. Work will begin in january 2008 (PPF - Allentown Riverwalk Project (G3FRNY00), 12/27/07). EPA TBA was completed 05/25/2009. Redevelopment is pending final sales agreement.

Former Use: Project encompasses several former industrial parcels. The majority of the property was formerly the Lehigh Structural Street Company's steel manufacturing plant. (PPF - Allentown Riverwalk Project, 5-10-07)
