Additional Property Attributes

Property is currently vacant and developed with an approximately 10,000-square foot, one-story building. The owner currently uses the property for the storage of damaged cars, automotive parts, and other miscellaneous automotive debris. The site has historically been used for residential and commercial uses. The property was notably used for automotive repair, but operations ceased due to a fire that heavily damaged the building. The fire was a result of the auto repair operations. Suggest Phase II because: due to the nature of operations at the time of the fire, hazardous substances were likely released; the site's eastern boundary is the former Morris Canal, which was filled with non-indigenous soil in 1924; the site was identified as Hudson County Chromium Site #121; the site was historically used as a dry cleaners as well as for automotive repair operations.
