Additional Property Attributes

1601 and 1700 will be part of a series of South Lamar developments, which include multiple projects in the general area. Redevelopment of the area will be staged. The property is adjacent to the South Side on Lamar multi-family and commercial development. The property will be an office space and associated parking. (PPF - 1601 & 1700 South Lamar Street, 06/25/2008) The property was previously owned by the South Side Plaza L.P. and acquired by the Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD). Former Use: 1601 is a 1.38 parcel developed circa 1921 with a 60,000 sq ft. 3 story office building structure with a 20,000 sq. ft. basement and 15,504 sq. ft. of connected manufacturing/warehouse structures. 1700 is a .96 acre "commercial-vacant plotted lots/tracts". It is developed as a parking lot. Previous owner was South Side Plaza, L.P.
