Additional Property Attributes

Phase II detected petroleum hydrocarbons & VOCs in soil & groundwater at very low concentrations below soil screening levels & health based levels of concern. No further action is expected to be needed at this site.

Former Use: The site has been developed since at least 1901, with many changes in configuration of structures. The current flatiron building was constructed around 1924, and has been vacant for more than a decade. A gasoline service station previously occupied the eastern portion of the property from 1940 until the mid-1950s. The OKC Urban Renewal Authority acquired the property in 2000. The property was owned by several entities prior to that.

The property is located in a historically developed area of Oklahoma City dating back to the early 1900's. The area has primarily been occupied by residential and commercial properties. An asphalt-paved parking lot is located on the west side of Parcel A, serving the adjoining commercial building to the west.
