Additional Property Attributes

50 single family homes on 2.53 acres are to be built. The environmental area of concern was limited to .25 acres of the total 2.53 acres to be developed. The Hunter School Redevelopment required the acquisition and conveyance to Norris Square Civic Association (NSCA) of over 100 residential lots by the City of Philadelphia's Redevelopment Authority. The redevelopment is largely financed by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Authority. The state granted Norris Square Civic Association, the redeveloper, $75,000 to perform the environmental cleanup. These funds were from the state's Subtitle C brownfield grant from the EPA.
