Additional Property Attributes

Property was proposed for redevelopment as residential multi-family. The owner applied for a loan with the City of Springfield for the project. An above-ground tank once sat directly across from the property, and has since been removed. The Phase II was performed as a leverage. After the completion of the Phase II, the contamination levels were found to be below state levels. The property is nearing redevelopment completion as a residential, multi-family house. There were lead and asbestos RECs identified, however after the Phase II assessment no cleanup was required.

Former Use: residential development. property includes land improved with a 2,500-square foot residential duplex. No historical data. railroad activity was prevalent since 1800s.
