Former Use: Construction of the original mill building at Lot 81 began around the turn of the twentieth century and was completed by 1910. The first documented occupant of the site was the Loridan Worsted Company in 1903. At that time, properties abutting Lot 81 were occupied by the River Spinning Company to the south and the G. Daignault Planing Mill and Lumber Yard to the north. By 1911, Lot 81 was occupied by the Lowland Worsted Company. At this time, a railroad spur used by the New York, New Haven, and Hartford Railroad was present at the northwestern portion of Lot 81. By 1950, The Bell Company Worsted Mill occupied Lot 81. The Consolidated Print Works, Inc. Textile Prints occupied Lot 81 by approximately 1963. The City of Woonsocket acquired Lot 81 from Consolidated Print Works in 2004.
