Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: The Old Panola Mills Building was bulit around 1945 as a texile mill. Several additions of similar construction was added later. Other businesses located at the facility over a period include Fruit of the Loom, and Batesville Casket Company. It was also utilized by the City of Batesville for equipment storage. During the site reconnaissance, the building was unoccupied. Two 2 USTs were removed in 1991. One was a 10,000 gallon gasoline tank, and the other was a 1,000 gallon diesel tank. MDEQ issued a NFA on these tanks in 1991.
