Additional Property Attributes

The site is vacant. An inactive rail siding bisects the site in the southeast to northwest direction. Remnants of a concrete building foundation are located south of the rail siding. The area north of the rail siding is overgrown with bush, and concrete former loading areas are located along the perimeter of the site. The site was developed in the 1920s and was utilized by the Victor Talking Machine Company as a warehouse to store materials from the 1920s until 1935. RCA occupied the site and operated a private garage and experimental laboratory on the site from 1935 until 1965. The 8137 Partnership used the warehouse to assemble toys between 1965 and 1984. The site was destroyed by a fire in the mid-1980s and has remained vacant since then. In 2014, the Camden Redevelopment Agency submitted an EPA cleanup grant proposal to remediate a portion of the site.

Former Use: The site is currently unused and includes a rail line and rail spur. The site was previously used for the storage and manufacture of printing inks.
