Former Use: The site contains 6 buildings and 2 USTs. The size and age of the buildings include 3 retail stores built in 1945 that are 1406, 1480, and 2606 square feet in size, a 1637 square foot residence constructed in 1950, a 1248 square foot retail store constructed in 1962, and a 2228 square foot retail store constructed in1991. The USTs were reportedly installed in 1970, lined in 1986, and temporarily closed in 2009. The previous owner, they were a property speculator and developer. They only bought the property as an investment. They didn�t distribute petroleum. They eventually went bankrupt and the current owner purchased the property from the bankruptcy court. This is one of the oldest and only historical trading posts on highway 64 between Williams on Route 66 and the Grand Canyon. If tanks are still in place, they could be more than 40 years old so an assessment of this property is essential to redevelopment of this property and the surrounding area. Buildings on site appear to have asbestos and lead-based paint so surveys of them are also needed.
