New Firehouse Former Use: Old Yucca Fire Station One was built in 1987 and is owned by the Yucca Fire District. The building used as a station until numerous issues with human health became apparent after a number of complaints from personnel. The building does not meet current building codes creating safety risks for occupants and has sever mold contamination. To address the issues the building has been assessed for asbestos and lead-based paint as part of the initial steps prior to demolition.
