Additional Property Attributes

This 0.57-acre site consists of one parcel (APN: 115-08-0950) and has been in the possession of BIMU Group LLC since 2023. Prior to 2023 and since at least 2013, it was owned by Swami Corporation. The site adjoins North Stone Avenue, a historic transit route into Tucson, to the east and lies about 360 feet north of Speedway Boulevard, a major east-west transit road in Tucson. In 1957, the site was developed with a Motel. The City of Tucson considers acquiring the site for redevelopment from hotel to transitional housing. Within a quarter mile of the property, there are 32 UST sites and 15 LUST sites. The Chevron Station 0.16 miles to the north is a confirmed active LUST site with groundwater contamination and free product present. Active gas stations nearby include the above-mentioned Chevron Station, a Circle K Gas station 0.16 miles to the southeast. There are four permanently closed gas stations within 0.2 miles of the site; the closest is a former closed Unocal station on the northeast corner of Speedway Boulevard and N Stone Avenue. The lot on the southwest corner of N Stone Avenue and Speedway Boulevard, may have housed a gas station from 1930 through 1965 associated with an automotive service.
