Additional Property Attributes

The former Federal Courthouse and Post Office closed several years ago. It was listed as having a UST but no record of whether it was removed properly. Asbestos is prevalent throughout and to renovate and reuse the property the asbestos must be abated. Property owner has been provided an estimate for asbestos abatement.

During original asbestos inspection, the roof was observed to be leaking which could impact cleanup, particularly in spreading asbestos contamination throughout the building. An update of the asbestos inspection report was been conducted to further quantify the amount of ACM as well as to determine whether it has spread to previously uncontaminated areas.
