Former Use: The former Avtex Fibers/FMC Wastewater Treatment facility is currently owned by AC&S, Inc. purchased 9/19/08. The site was owned for a short period by the Putnam County Development authority 8/26/08 thru 9/19/08, and prior to that by the County Court of Putnam County. From 1963 to 1976, FMC owned the property American Viscose Corporation owned the property up until 1963. The Site was used to treat waste water from the former Avetex Fibers/FMC operations.
