Additional Property Attributes

Lot 9 was developed in the early 1900s as a hydroelectric plant. It was used more recently as a repair shop for the sawmill equipment. The assessment grant successfully addressed two underground storage tank issues. Following completion of the Phase II, the EPA emergency removals program addressed waste containers, lead and PCB issues. Significant progress has been made at this site.

Former Use: Lot 9 was developed in the early 1900s as a hydroelectric plant. It was used more recently as a repair shop for the sawmill equipment and as a junkyard/metal salvage yard. The former property owner George Smith is in a nursing home. The property is currently owned by a special needs trust Christine Bodwell Irr. Trust for a handicapped daughter.
