Additional Property Attributes

The three-story building which was built in 1900 might be a potential for Asbestors Containing Material ACM because of its age. The site is not listed on the National Priority List or the CERCLIS database and no evidence of current or previous uses of USTs, ASTs or oil and water seperators was found at the site or adjacent properties. The site building is currently vacant and no chemical usage and storage activities identified.

Former Use: The site comprises approximately 108,029 square feet of land and is improved with an approximately 37,000 square foot, three story school building and an asphalt-paved and gravel parking lot. The building which was costructed in the 1900s is currently vacant but was most recently occupied by the Ivy City Community Center and the Crumme ll Public School. While the parking lot is used by the DC Public School employees in the day time, it is used by Love Nightclub patrons in the night.This property is listed as being owned by the government of the District of Columbia.
