Additional Property Attributes

Former Use: Located in a mixed commercial-residential neighborhood, the site is used to store junked vehicles. The current business accepts used vehicles to dismantle and sell usable parts. The structure on the property was built in 1850 as a blacksmith shop. A junk yard has operated on the site since at least 1935. The property is adjacent to the GMTA garage and a golf course. The site is adjacent to the Green River, and is located within the 100-year and 500-year flood zones. Several releases have been reported at the site, with a Phase II conducted in the mid-1990s. The Phase I recommends a subsurface investigation be conducted to evaluation conditions at the property.
