Additional Property Attributes

Current owner is in bankruptcy. The redeveloppment of this site is a high priority for the local municipality, East Deer. Site is well-located on Allegheny River with conveneint access to State Route 28 and Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Former Use: For approximately the last 15 years, the site was owned by Pitt Penn Oil, who distributed oils and other liquids for motor vehicle maintenance. In September of 2009, there was a spill at the facility that caught fire, caused by the company liquidating the equipment. The property was vacant in 2010 and 2011, but was leased to a company in 2012 and 2013. The company serviced the Allegheny Ludlum construction site and created about 10 jobs on site.
